Card Slay

Card Slay is a poker roguelike deckbuilder where the House fights back.

Fight through a cursed House with poker hands as your weapons. Red suits deal damage. Black suits build Block. Shape your deck around powerful combos, then choose the hand that keeps you alive.





Draw eight cards and build a poker hand using one to five cards. You have limited plays and discards each turn, so read the enemy’s next move before you commit. Chase a red Flush for a crushing hit, hold black cards to weather an attack, or mix colors to do both. Preview your hand’s Attack and Block before you play.

The monsters attack your deck as well as your health. The Grave Auditor slips cursed cards into your draw pile. The Crystal Grub shrugs off small hits until one powerful attack cracks its shell and stuns it. Elites and bosses impose rules that can punish repeated hands or limit your discards. Read their intentions, find the opening, and make your next hand count.





Draft new cards, forge upgrades, and remove cards that get in your way. Collect Runes whose passive effects combine throughout the run, and save single-use Phials to turn a desperate fight around. Build toward the hands you want to draw, then watch an ordinary card become the heart of your combo.

Begin with the Ashen Deck and unlock seven more ways to challenge the House. The Forge Deck favors aggressive play with red cards. The Bastion Deck turns defense into damage. The Star Deck rewards varied hands and gives you tools to read upcoming draws. Each deck brings a different starting build to master.
