You wake inside a remote wooden cabin with no memory of how you got there. Behind its familiar furnishings are locked compartments, strange mechanisms and clues left for you to find. Someone has brought you here for a reason. Getting out means following the trail they have laid.

ESCAPE: The Cabin is a single-player, first-person horror escape-room game with over 70 puzzles woven through an unsettling mystery. Search the rooms, examine what you find and make connections between clues scattered across the cabin. Randomised clues, item locations and solutions give you fresh answers to work out when you return.

Open drawers, search cupboards and look beyond what is immediately in front of you. The cabin is filled with objects to examine, hidden compartments to uncover and locked areas waiting to be opened. A detail that seems meaningless in one room may be exactly what you need somewhere else.

As new tools and clues become available, return to the places you could not make sense of before. Progress comes from paying attention to your surroundings and recognising how the discoveries you make fit together.

Crack safes, decipher codes, work through colour and memory challenges, and repair mechanisms to open the way forward. From a piano to a rotating letter lock, the cabin's puzzles ask you to observe, reason and experiment with the objects around you.

These challenges are connected to the rooms you explore and the items you collect. Finding a missing component is only the beginning: you still need to understand where it belongs and how to use it. Each solved puzzle can put another clue within reach or give you access to somewhere you could not go before.

Pick up and rotate objects to inspect them from different angles. Examine their markings, look for concealed details, and work out whether you are holding a clue, a tool or part of something larger.

Combine, dismantle and use items to solve the problems in front of you. An object may need another component before it becomes useful, while something already assembled may be more valuable taken apart. Think about what an item can do as well as what it appears to be.

Escaped once? The next attempt gives you reasons to look again. Clues, item locations and puzzle solutions are randomised, so a code you remember from an earlier playthrough may no longer open the same lock.
