"Perhaps they've inherited it from somewhere, the herbivores, perhaps memories from supping on spilt prey blood, from chewing upon grass. Perhaps in their own way they find meaning in it, in this identity.

Perhaps, though, many herbivores, crammed into bodies all flat-toothed and wide-eyed and fidgety, aspire, inside themselves, to be free of what they've grown into. Perhaps the spirits who inherit them, being free of this, simply show their will clearer.

Perhaps some predators, when sharp teeth meet flesh, find some strange pleasure in the thought of being chased down, of grazing. Perhaps some feel guilt.

And free of the rigidity of the body, of the enforced flesh, the herbivore may simply be unfolding as a flower from a bloom when they grow sharp and hunt, the predator, too, when they rest gentle on the earth, no more to spill blood.

You yourself do not conform to any set home, as most do. Perhaps this is simply nomadism of the soul."

In the past, a war-priestess, fallen in battle, is rejected by the spirits, dragged by the currents far from home. She is saved from death by a passing healer who finds her in the shallows of the other world, and recovers in his cabin in a village near a city by the mountains.

In the present The Bull of Heaven is unleashed on a city near the mountains, tearing a wound in the world. A woman who was once a war-priestess, axe in hand, returns to a place she once knew.

In a vivid action-rhythm game split across eleven intense levels, scored to two and a half hours of original music, and cutscenes featuring eighty hand-made digital paintings, journey across a place you once knew and seek something there worth saving.
