Crystal Chatbox

Crystal Chatbox is a companion app for VRChat. It runs on your PC alongside the game and drives your in-game chatbox over OSC, so you can show what you're listening to, what the weather's doing, or anything you want to say, without stopping to type.

Spotify, Last.fm, Discord, or whatever's playing through Windows. Lyrics are matched and timed to the track, so the line in your chatbox is the line you're hearing. Progress bars and timestamps are optional.

Crystal Chatbox appears in your SteamVR dashboard, so you can toggle the chatbox, send a message or reset your space without taking the headset off.

Space Drag lets you grab the world with a controller button and pull yourself through it, which is handy for reaching past your guardian bounds without walking. Bind it to any button you like, set how far each pull moves you, lock it to one axis, and turn on gravity so you drop back to the floor when you let go. Space Turn rotates the world around you, with optional snap turning.

Browse your friends, search users and avatars, see who's in your instance, and keep your favourites in one place.

• Make it yours

Build your own chatbox layout, pick which modules show and in what order, add borders and frames, choose your own icons, and save the whole thing as a profile you can switch between.
