Laser Lode

Laser Lode is a 3D voxel incremental game. You cut through mine face blocks with a laser, earn currency, and spend it on upgrades to unlock new special blocks. Mining, earning, upgrading, and unlocking keep the loop moving forward.

The game includes 14 upgrade options, 7 special blocks, 4 powerful Buffs, and 4 ranks of mine faces. Cutting special blocks grants Buffs that make later mining more efficient, while different ranks of mine faces offer different values. While exploring, finding a high-value mine face becomes a welcome surprise.

The gameplay loop includes: cutting blocks with your laser to earn currency; spending currency on upgrades to improve cutting and earning efficiency; unlocking and cutting special blocks to gain powerful Buffs; exploring different ranks of mine faces to find high-value targets; and continuing to earn until currency numbers stop being meaningful.

Early on, you build up currency through repeated cuts and unlock new upgrades. In the mid game, special blocks and Buffs change the mining rhythm, and higher-rank mine faces bring noticeably larger gains. Later, the game focuses on relaxed idle play and number growth, so you can listen to music or watch videos while the numbers keep expanding.
