Overview

Pest Order

## About This Game

**Pest Order ** is a pixel-art image recognition puzzle game wrapped in the guise of an urban pest control service — but beneath the surface lies a

disturbing truth.

**You are an AI trainer at ClearPest Inc.**

Your job seems simple: look at images, identify animals, and help train the AI system. Cat or dog? Bird or something else? Harmless daily work.

But it doesn't stay that way.

## Core Gameplay

- **Image Recognition** — Identify animal species from 32×32 near-mosaic pixel art, relying on silhouettes and color blocks.

- **Data Matrix Decoding** — The images vanish, leaving only an 8×8 grid of RGB values. Can you find the cat's ears or the dog's outline in pure numbers?

- **Color-Assisted Analysis** — Color fills return to the grid. Use highlight tools to filter warm tones and cool tones; hover to inspect RGB tooltips.

- **Target Selection** — Drag and draw selection boxes around "pest" targets in the matrix, set a confidence threshold, and submit your judgment.

- **Live Review** — The AI auto-tags "pests". Under countdown pressure, confirm or cancel each elimination. The grid resolution dynamically scales from

8×8 to 16×16, with increasing noise and interference.

the world.

## Not All "Pests" Are Pests

Hidden throughout the game is a decryption chain — anomalous RGB values, system warning pop-ups, a memo left by a former trainer, a hidden terminal —

fragments scattered across five stages. Only the sharpest players will piece together the truth:

**What exactly is this system eliminating?**

## Endings

- 🌟 Good Ending — *"They Shouldn't Have Ended Up Like This"*: Uncover the truth and choose to expose it.

- 🌑 Bad Ending — *"Humans Are the Pests."*: Look the other way, or choose silence.

- 💀 Special Ending — *"Artificial Idiot — Maybe That's a Good Thing"*: Fail every question in Stage 1.

- 🧬 Hidden Ending — *"The Subject Awakens"*: Push beyond the system's limits.

## Features

- 16 achievements across three categories: progression, performance, and secrets

- Randomized question draws — no two playthroughs are the same

- Colorblind accessibility mode

- Data Museum: revisit every image you've ever identified

- The decryption chain is entirely optional — you can finish the game without it, but the ending won't be the same
