Maze 1211
First Light Studio
Wait. Where am I? Why is there a maze? Why am I holding a lantern? A first-person psychological mystery. Wander a vast night maze with a few flags and a stick of chalk. Mark your way, follow the signs, and try to remember which way you came. If you can.
Overview
Wait. Where am I?
You wake up on cold grass. A lantern sits beside you, still lit. All around you, walls of hedge rise into the dark, taller than any house.
You don't remember falling asleep. You don't remember anything before this.
You... just woke up and ended up here
Somewhere far away, a music box is playing. Slightly out of tune.
In your pocket: a few small flags and a stick of chalk. That's all.
So you pick up the lantern, and you start walking.
You plant a flag at the first turn. You draw an arrow on the wall. You walk until the hedges turn to stone, and the stone turns to moss. Now and then you find things left behind. A bench. A lamp still burning. A camp, neatly made.
Further in, another camp. Not so neat.
Someone was here before you. They didn't know where they were either.
Find the way out. Only the way out!!
