Using AI in Zalo: message it like someone you know
You connect May to Zalo and write the way you normally do: "How many new orders today?", "Remind me at 17:00 to pack." May replies in that same chat.
There is no new app and no separate website to open. You use the app already on your phone.
Each May runs on its own VPS in Ho Chi Minh City, so it keeps working after your phone and laptop are off. Only you can message your May.
How to connect May to Zalo and Telegram
Both are done while you create your May and take a few minutes. You do not copy a token or install anything on your device.
- Zalo: tap once and May makes a Zalo bot that only you can message.
- Telegram: scan a code and press Start. No token to copy.
- The first account that presses Start is the only one May answers. Press Start yourself before you share the code with anyone.
- Not ready to connect? You can still chat with May on the May page and connect a chat app later.
How is it different from a Zalo AI chatbot for a fan page?
A fan-page chatbot waits on your page and answers your customers. May works the other way round: it serves you, the shop owner or freelancer.
They solve different problems, and many people use both.
| Chatbot that answers customers | May | |
|---|---|---|
| Who talks to the bot | Your customers | Only you |
| Who the bot helps | The customer | You |
| Example jobs | Opening hours, prices, shipping fees | Order summary at 07:00, rival price check, weekly report |
| Remembers what you tell it | Depends on the product | Yes, and forgets when you ask |
Only you can message it, and May only sees what you send
May answers only your account. A stranger who messages the bot gets no reply.
May does not read your other conversations in Zalo or Telegram. It only sees what you send it.
For a risky step, such as sending a discount code to customers, May asks first. You tap Send or Not now.
Send a small job once, May does it on time
You can ask May to work on a schedule: summarise new orders at 07:00 every day, check rival prices on Monday morning, send a report on Friday afternoon.
Because May runs on its own VPS, the schedule keeps running when your phone battery is flat. Discord and Slack are also in the chat app list, but Zalo or Telegram is the easiest way in.
