Windows is a choice when you create the VPS
You pick Windows or Ubuntu when you create the VPS. Both have 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and admin or root access.
For Windows, you open the machine in the browser console, with no extra connection software to install. The disk is included and grows 100 GB at a time, up to 600 GB.
- KVM VM, 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM
- Choose Ubuntu or Windows at creation
- Admin or root access
- Opens in the browser console
- Disk grows 100 GB at a time up to 600 GB, and only grows
Every Thinkmay VPS opens VS Code and a terminal in your browser. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or Grok sessions keep running after you close the tab, and a GitHub repo you build gets its own HTTPS address.
What a Windows VPS is for
A Windows VPS suits work that needs a Windows machine always ready: running Windows-only tools, running bots, or hosting a small server.
Because it bills by the hour, you can also spin up a Windows machine to try something and delete it when you are done.
- Run Windows-only tools 24/7
- Run bots and automated tasks
- Host a small server
- A clean Windows environment to try and drop
Billed by the hour, with a monthly cap
The first hour is charged when you create the VPS, then one hour at a time from your Thinkmay wallet in VND. Each month has a cap, so leaving it on all month never costs more than that. See the pricing page for current prices.
A stopped VPS still bills, and those hours count toward the cap. To stop billing, delete the VPS.
Servers in Ho Chi Minh City, VietQR top-up
Servers and data are in Ho Chi Minh City, and the public IP is in a Vietnamese range. A public IPv4 address is an optional add-on billed per 30 days.
You top up the wallet by VietQR, card or a Vietnamese scratch card. Support is in Vietnamese on Discord. Snapshots let you go back: stop the VPS, snapshot, restore when needed, last 3 kept.
Need gaming or GPU work instead
A VPS is not for gaming or GPU work. For that, the right product is Thinkmay Cloud PC.
Cloud PC and VPS share one Thinkmay account and wallet, so you can use both.
